Palmerston
North Campus
The
ETC campus is in the centre of the city. Shops, cafes
and restaurants from different cultures, as well as the world's
popular fast food outlets are nearby. Massey University is a five-minute bus ride away. Excellent student accommodation
is available within 5 minutes walk of the campus.
The
campus is in a spacious building, catering for 70 students.
There are 7 fully equipped classrooms, with tables, chairs,
whiteboards, dictionaries and textbooks. The student lounge
has kitchen facilities so you can make hot drinks and prepare
meals. Drinks such as tea and coffee are also free. Students
have access to computers and the Internet and self-study .
Within
two blocks you can visit the Palmerston North library, art gallery
and science museum. The city council even provides free
bicycles on loan if you want to go exploring.

Palmerston
North, population 75,000, is 130 km from Wellington and is called the "Student City of New Zealand" because it has international quality educational,
research and accommodation facilities for students. Massey University, UCOL, and IPC -International Pacific
College are based in Palmerston North. The city is home
to 11,000 students from around New Zealand and around the world.
There
are beaches, approximately a half-hour's drive from Palmerston
North. Adventure trips involving a two hours' drive, can take
you to ski fields and active volcanic parklands with geysers,
boiling mud pools, and hot
springs for spa swimming. There is also go white water rafting, trout
fishing and bungee jumping. Within three hours drive you can
sample New Zealand
wines on tours of the wine vineyards.
Palmerston
North is within two hours drive to Wellington, our capital city,
and the home to our other campus. Being in the lower central
area of New Zealand, Palmerston North is within a days driving
distance of all cities in the North Island, so the students
can visit many places in the weekends and holiday breaks.timonials
